I presume getting prepared for one’s wedding is just one of the majorities of anticipated events in a couple’s life. This is when everything is being settled to make sure that the huge event is an excellent one. We want everyone to remember this special day since everything turned out perfectly.
Nevertheless, no matter how much we prepare for this day, there seems to be always something wrong bound to happen. For example, the band required to play on your wedding reception didn’t come because they were only paid to play on your wedding ceremony and that is it. No one arranged for how long the reception location will likely be used and now the management is requesting for everybody to vacate the area in an hour because there shall be another reception to take place in the next hour.
All these unwanted scenes and so much more can happen if the responsibilities are not delegated evenly to both the bride’s and the groom’s party. They may be avoided in a lot of ways. Both the bride’s and the groom’s side should communicate really well to avoid any assumptions that the other side paid for this and that so we don’t have to pay for this and that. Having this kind of attitude spells out disaster in a wedding preparation.
Proper delegation should be recognized in preparation of a wedding. Normally, there is a list of the traditional wedding cost designation for the bride and the groom’s family. This will actually help both parties to decide on which costs to pay for and if they think that this is not applicable to them, then they would need to split up designations to make sure that everything’s fare and square. You don’t want your in-laws fighting over the costs of your wedding even before they become legally in-laws, do you? Of course not. So here are some of the traditional wedding cost designations that could help organize your wedding expenses.
The bride’s family should take care of all the cost of the wedding ceremony such as the location of the wedding ceremony, the rentals for the chairs, lights, music along with the decorations which will adorn the entire wedding place. You can have flowers for the decorations which is generally the case for weddings. They would certainly also be the ones responsible for the whole wedding reception cost, which include the place of the reception, the food and type of beverages to be served, music or live entertainment, the reception decorations and obviously, the most awaited wedding cake. The bride’s family will also provide the gift for the groom. They happen to be also in charge of the photographers and also the photo coverage of the wedding as well as the reception. And finally, the wedding gown that the bride shall be wearing.
The groom’s household wedding assignments include the rings to be worn by the new couple, the marriage license, the bride’s flower bouquet and the flower corsages, the rehearsal dinner and of course, who could forget the honeymoon where the new couple will enjoy their brand new married life together. There isn’t much to add unless of course you want a really extravagant and fabulous wedding. Then most likely you could add more to the list given that everything will be taken care of to avoid any inconveniences on your big day.

Mangoes are surely first on my list when my friends and I attend a party or just a simple lunch out. Anyone loves how I prepare my mangoes. Be it preserved, fresh or baked, it sure is a hit. Within our past picnics, everyone has already been asking me to make my mango cheesecake. The cream cheese compliments the mangoes really well simply because the sour taste blends well and balances the sweetness of the ripe mangoes I use. There aren’t too much mango trees around so they cost a little pricier than the fruits that are usually accessible all year long. This fruit is also more available during the summer when the temperature’s kind of hot.
My friend is a wedding coordinator so I get to suggest the best mango recipes to be served on the wedding reception. Since the first time a couple from across the block tried to have mangoes as part of their entree, word has spread out and the next thing I knew, I’ve already been getting loads of orders for wedding receptions for mango pies, mango cakes, mango jelly and mango tarts.
Among the bestsellers that I have during wedding receptions, I love mango pies the most especially it has peaches to go with it. I think it’s better than apple pie. The smaller version of it is the mango tart which you could serve to the guests individually. This is actually better off since your guests wouldn’t have to slice pies themselves which is a little inconvenient for them. Another delightful recipe that I was able to perfect is the mango mousse. It is a very simple recipe because it’s made the same way how you would make a chocolate mousse. It replaces cakes easily because they have somewhat the same texture and you can build it looking like a cake.
The only real difference is that instead of a dark, chocolatey mousse, you get a light yellow mousse that you can load with mangoes around it. If you need it to be a little more colorful, you may add slices of strawberries and kiwi around it and you have your very own type of the mango mousse. It’s virtually limitless because you design your own mousse and you can easily add whatever you want to make your mango mousse look and taste more incomparable and fabulous. Another thing that I am interested of making is a mango pudding. I have not seen anyone make one of those. Not even in pastry shops. Perhaps people aren’t ready yet to risk making a mango pudding.
I mean, why not? A mango pudding sounds good. Everybody was also skeptical over the fact that mango pies can replace apple pies before and they were afraid to experiment on making some. We do not have to limit our taste to the conventional and traditional recipes that we are accustomed to have. I have even tried eating green mangoes with cooked shrimp paste and it was just as heavenly as any other appetizers I’ve tasted.
You can never go wrong with a mango recipe because mangoes tend to be tasteful naturally and you don’t have to produce a taste for it simply to make it delicious. You just need to think of more ways to prepare it. If you ever believe that you are a bit too scared to play around with mango recipes, I advise you start off with making a mango shake to warm up, then try whipping up cream, add mangoes and you’ve got a mango mousse. It’s actually a healthy and delicious fruit that will hopefully leave your friends asking for more.

I don’t know a single soul who doesn’t know or hasn’t heard of the Heart Of The Ocean Diamond Necklace that Kate Winslet (Rose DeWitt Bukater/Rose Dawson) wore in the 2nd All-Time Worldwide Box office movie Titanic.
I have to admit that it took me three long months before I was in able to see the movie after it started showing in the local theaters because everytime I tried to get a ticket for me and my buddies, the theater’s tickets were all sold out for the entire week and it absolutely something that I have never experienced yet so I didn’t have the mind to get tickets at the very least 2 weeks beforehand. An regular routine for me and my friends would be to go to the theatre, buy tickets and go in to watch our selected movie. Nevertheless, this movie experience was way diverse than what my friends and I have expected to happen.
Anyway, the highlight that everyone was waiting to see was when Rose asked Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) to draw her wearing only the Heart Of The Ocean Necklace and nothing else. Within the cinemas, you could hear everyone gasp to see an incredibly attractive young lady get undressed in front of a young boy, asking him to sketch her in the nude.
I mean who wouldn’t want that? So then it became a huge hit among girls to have a piece of necklace similar or resembling The Heart Of The Ocean as part of their jewelry. And of course, online auction websites had their own hype of the piece of gem. You can guess that eBay was one of the top online auction websites to have a lot of online sellers auction at least one replica of the blue diamond movie replica and until the present day, you’d still see one amounting up to $600 or even more. I suddenly realized that the hype isn’t over yet even if it’s been 13 years since it first came out.
The last time I ran a research relating to the actual Heart Of The Ocean diamond, it was with Twentieth Century Fox’s movie archives. I’m uncertain if they’ve auctioned it off for a very good trigger or it still remains in their archives.
In weddings, the bride wearing a necklace that has a resemblance to The Heart Of The Ocean is probably the highlight of the whole ceremony. It is when she walks down the aisle incredibly slowly on purpose so that everyone could take a good look at the necklace she’s wearing. I just can’t imagine how long these brides would certainly take to walk down the aisle. I could only feel for the poor groom who waits by the altar patiently as he watches his bride approach him little by little. Anyways, it will definitely make any wedding as memorable as the movie and as dramatic as Rose’s quest to seek out Jack. And by the way, don’t forget to play the theme song “My Heart Will Go On” to get that real Titanic feel, too.

It has been a long time since I last spotted my manager. It’s a good thing I have been getting news from her via social networking sites these days. As I recall her, Sharon is the type of girl who wouldn’t want to be tied up to somebody as she’s delighted being free as a bird. All she could care for was to get by with the day’s work. She was kind of workaholic for me, though. And when she plays, she is a playaholic since she knows how to party real hard. She loves grunge fashion and she loves rock music.
I really had a hard time thinking of her as a supervisor. She was more like a friend and a colleague I’d see everyday at work. At work, we weren’t allowed to surf the internet during office hours. And since she was my supervisor, I got away with it. I spent lots of hours surfing the internet, saving pictures of my favorite super heroes and then print them later on, in full color using the company’s printer which was just a few meters away from me. She knew that and she let me get away with it. Of course, I loved her for that.
Just one day, she told me she was leaving due to the fact she did not agree with the way of the management. She said there was a lot of connivance and corruption going on in the office and she did not want any part of it. She hugged me and whispered in my ear to be mindful of the people around me when she leaves simply because she will not be there to defend me anymore. I cried and hugged her for the last time. And then she went into the elevator going down. That was the last incident I ever saw her.
After some years, a lot of social networking sites have sprung up like mushrooms. Needless to say, I had to register with the majority of them simply because I was told that I will be capable of finding and getting in touch with old friends again once they sign up for it as well. And I wasn’t frustrated. I stumbled upon Sharon in a very well-known networking site. I promptly invited her to be in my pals list and she responded at once.
Lately, we’ve been chatting a lot through the site’s instant messenger application and was I surprised just now when she told me she’s getting married tomorrow. She will become Mrs. Russ. She showed me their wedding rings through the pictures she uploaded. They’re like infinite gold vines. Hers is a small one and a larger one for her soon-to-be husband. She showed me her husband’s gifts to her with their pictures attached to it and the wedding gown for tomorrow’s event. It is simply stunning. The dress sparkled like a diamond and has several gold beads sewn on to the base of the gown. She even showed me the cufflinks she’ll give to her groom as a gift. The cufflinks looked like a pair of platinum disco balls.
She said she decided on that design because they both love very good music and they both love to dance. I am incredibly happy for her. She said we’ll see each other soon and she will bring along her husband, too. Though I am unable to be at their wedding tomorrow, I am still thankful to be just one of the first individuals to get a glimpse of her gown, their wedding rings, the cufflinks and needless to say, the bride-to-be.

In all the wedding I’ve seen, particularly in the movies, the groom seems to be the one with all the time in the world. He doesn’t have to worry about his hair to be done for hours like his bride’s hair should. The groom doesn’t have to think of any special techniques to get into his coat or his tuxedo to make sure he wears it perfectly unlike the bride who might need at least 2 or 3 persons to help her slip in to her wedding gown, making sure that all the details of the dress are kept in place and nothing is torn or detached.
But then again, given that the groom will not have to be as detailed as the bride, there are a number of things that the groom could do in order to avoid any mishaps during this particular day. No one would like anything negative to happen during their wedding day so this directory of must-haves is especially directed to the grooms. You are also responsible in keeping order on that specific day. To do so you need to:
1. Make sure that the specific suit, tuxedo, coat or whatever you are wearing for the wedding is clean, mended and ready to wear on the wedding day itself. If you are supposed to dress up at the wedding venue, the least thing you can easily do is to bring your clothes there at least one day before so you won’t have a chance to forget it. While you are at it, make sure that you bring your wallet, your money, credit cards and your driver’s license as well. If you’re going on your honeymoon straight after the wedding dinner, then you might need to pack your things completely at the least a couple of days before to make sure everything’s there.
2. If you are required to get dressed at home or at the hotel, make sure to lay everything where you could see them. Do not assume that you already know where to search for almost everything as you get dressed tomorrow because it is when you start to get rattled and restless and chances are you’ll forget to something.
3. Pack additional toiletries like comb, hair gel, locks spray, toothbrush, deodorant, dental floss, cologne and a very good breath spray. You certainly do not know when one of your respective groomsmen might forget something at the venue. At least you have numerous things which you could lend them.
4. If you are under a medication, don’t forget to pack your medicine set the night before. Put it in the bag where your other toiletries are and put it in your car right away so you won’t have any chances of leaving it behind. You don’t want any serious health conditions to take away the limelight from you and your bride during your wedding day.
5. Please don’t forget to bring a good breath spray or breath mints to help freshen your breath. I know this is something personal but you might just take your bride’s breath away when you kiss her and you still have the essence of the pizza you ate the day before. You will really knock her off her feet literally when you kiss her with your breath smelling like that.
