Delicious Manhattan Restaurant Destinations

Monday, March 8th, 2010

So you’ve booked a trip to New York City and you may be wondering where to eat. There are thousands of excellent places to choose from, so the experience of narrowing it down to just a few can be quite the challenge.

Much of where you choose to go may depend on your budget, your time constraints, your preferences for foods, and the neighborhood you’re in. The suggestions that I share will be reasonably priced and relatively accessible, assuming you don’t mind a subway or a taxi ride.

Everyone knows that New York is known for its great pizza. One great place to check out is Luzzo’s in the East Village. This place serves up some of the best Neapolitan pizza I’ve ever tried, and I’m by no means the only person to make that claim. These pies are hot, fresh, and the perfect size.

You may also want to try John’s Pizza on Bleecker Street in the West Village if you find yourself on the West side of town. This landmark restaurant is known as one of the best pizzerias in all of Manhattan, and commonly has a line that goes out the door.

You can’t come to New York City without getting a taste of its bagels. One good place to check out when you are uptown is one of the H&H Bagels stores.

And when you are downtown, be sure to go to one of the Murray’s Bagels stores on the West side. They taste so good when they are nice and hot, and there are several spreads for your to choose from that will go nicely on them.

If you are thinking about burgers, some of the best-tasting ones in the entire world are found in New York City. Shake Shack is the place that so many folks think has the tastiest burgers. It is relatively easy to get to and there are two main locations.

One is in Madison Square Park. If you find yourself here when it’s cold out, this may not be ideal, as it’s literally located inside the park and has no indoor seating.

The other location is definitely more conducive to cold weather, as an indoor Shake Shack restaurant can be found on the Upper West Side. Whichever you choose, you’ll have some great burgers, fries, and shakes to enjoy.

The writer additionally often writes regarding things such as no show socks and thorlo tennis socks.

Beautiful Resorts To Travel To When Traveling To The Dominican Republic

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

Christopher Columbus, one of most famous explorers, fell in love with the Dominican Republic at first sight. He described it as paradise, a very apt description of an island of beauty and wonder.

If you like a bit of culture and interesting history in your vacation destination, then a visit to the Dominican Republic is a must. The island is spattered with holiday resorts that will appeal to even the most discerning of visitors.

Two main things are manufactured here, and you can see them both being made if you take a trip to the cigar factory or distillery. If golf is your game, you are also well catered for. The areas of forest are very exciting to explore and it is a shoppers paradise with the price of its goods.

The Dominican Republic is home to one of the best known and popular resorts across the Globe. Punta Cana is situated on the Eastern side of the Island.

All inclusive is an option growing quickly in popularity, and the only problem you will have in Punta Cana is deciding which one of the many to go to! The gorgeous beaches are second to none and its easy to see why so many rate Punta Cana as their favorite place for a vacation.

In the north of the Dominican Republic, you will find the classy and elegant Puerto Plata, which is also brimming with resorts that offer the inclusive option. Add to this the vast sandy expanse known as the Playa Dorada beach, and you can see why Puerto Plata is so popular.

If you enjoy museums full of local history, the south Eastern resort of La Romana is for you. It doesn’t have as many resorts offering all excusive as the first two I mentioned, but is still worth a look. A trip over to Catalina Island is also a great day out.

The oldest American city, which also houses the oldest Cathedral, is Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic’s chief city. All inclusive is the way to go here, with a great choice of resorts.

Interesting Toppings To Go With Pizza

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

Living in New York is a great thing, especially since I have easy access to what so many people say is the greatest pizza in the entire world. Just about every commercial neighborhood has a pizzeria every two or three blocks.

As a result, I’ve had the privilege of enjoying a very wide variety of slices and styles. During my time spent eating this delicious treat, I’ve come across some pretty interesting types and I’d like to share a few of them with you today.

Perhaps you yourself would like to make these or you want to find an establishment near you that has them on the menu; if you are someone who really likes to try creative food dishes, then you will definitely want to sample these kinds of pizza.

Have you ever gotten to try a slice of mac and cheese pizza? If not, you should absolutely give it a try. I know that it probably seems a little unusual, but it tastes so awesome. When the slice has the macaroni breaded on top, it is even more yummy.

Another very popular slice at anyone of the city’s top pizzerias is a spinach artichoke variety. This is like your typical spinach style slice, but it has artichokes and a creamy blend of cheese throughout. Many call it the best they’ve ever had.

Lastly, I’m a big fan of buffalo chicken and it goes great when it sits atop a hot crust. Try a buffalo chicken pizza slice if you like this food to begin with and I think you’ll fall in love.

You can put some blue cheese onto the slice or have a separate dip to enhance the flavor of it. You will see that it is really good with the crust.

I sure hope that you can get some inspiration from one or all of these kinds of pizza. I personally love all of them and perhaps you will as well.

Aside from food, the writer additionally regularly publishes information about cheap maternity clothes and maternity swimsuits.

Great Ideas For The First Date

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

The first date is always a really interesting scenario. Depending upon how you met the person and how well you know them, the first few hours spent with them on this date can be a make or break scenario that either sets the tone for a great relationship, or quickly causes things to fizzle out.

Choosing the most appropriate setting for your first date will effectively set the tone for the evening. Thus, most folks will give this decision a lot of thought before they pick where it will be.

Most importantly, you’ll want to choose something that provides a great atmosphere that makes things fun, and gives you an easy means of communicating with your date.

Let’s discuss a couple of things that could really help you both to have a smooth transition into that first date. Give some thought to each of them if you have not figured out what your first date is going to consist of.

One fun idea is to go to a live event. Whether it’s something like a comedy club or a coffee shop with live music, you might not be able to talk much while you’re there, but you’ll have plenty to discuss once it’s done.

Your date will see that you are someone who likes to have fun and go to different events that he or she might not get to very often.

Next, going miniature golfing is always lots of fun. Both of you will have a very enjoyable time playing the game as well as chatting with each other all through it since it will not be noisy.

Lastly, has the thought of going to a park and having a picnic crossed your mind? The two of you can share a good meal and easily chat the day away while thoroughly enjoying the beautiful sunshine outside in the fresh air. Your date will most likely have a great time and think that you are wonderful.

In addition to dating, this author also regularly writes on the wireless speaker surround sound system and high end home theater audio.

Creative Concepts For White Meat Chicken Meals

Friday, March 5th, 2010

When we eat meat, it should be very lean so that we are taking in just the protein and not fat. chicken fits the bill perfectly.

When starting a new diet, chicken is the meat of choice. You can do so much with it and it provides us with the valuable protein that we need.

Although a lot of people think that chicken is very boring and find it rather dry, I\’ve personally never found this as I tend to make a lot of different dishes and include various ingredients so that even if I had chicken every day it would always taste different.

Don\’t make the mistake of not making the effort to experiment, so many of us have ended up loathing a food that was once a firm favorite. By leaving out Chicken and eating other meats instead is increasing your calorie and fat intake which is never a good idea.

Here are a few ideas for chicken that both taste delicious and will ensure that the boredom never sets in. Theses recipes have the added bonus of being very healthy, so you can rest assured that although you have made the Chicken taste different, it is still good for you.

The simplest way to liven up Chicken is a sauce. As we are looking for a healthy option; I recommend a sauce which consists of orange, honey and raisins. If you like nuts, throw in few almonds too. The sweetness of the sauce should ensure that you won\’t want a dessert either.

As all our fattening favorites have low fat versions, get yourself some sour cream or mayonnaise, tarragon and Chicken and create a very quick and tasty creamy salad. The low fat ingredients ensure that the dish is very rich but stays healthy, this is one of my favorite healthy dishes.

Practically anything goes with chicken as it hasn\’t got the overpowering flavor of other meats. Try it with coconut, lime and peas to create a very tasty dish. Any kind of vegetables and fruit goes with chicken so get into the kitchen and start inventing.

The writer also frequently shares knowledge about things like stainless steel shelving and bathroom wall shelves.
