Why Wagyu Beef Is Considered Healthy?

All these years beef has been considered as an unhealthy diet and therefore have been advised by doctors not to have it regularly. But it tastes so good that beef lovers have found it difficult to avoid it altogether even though beef is considered as one of the significant contributors of increasing cholesterol in the body. They have it occasionally since its taste is so captivating to taste buds.

However, today a new entrant in the European market has taken people by storm. Known as Wagyu this has been reared for over 2000 years in Japan. Wagyu is actually a Japanese word meaning ‘Japanese cattle’. Most people are familiar with Kobe beef, which is nothing but Wagyu brought from the Kobe region in Japan.

What makes people go gaga over Wagyu beef is its tenderness and flavor. Those who have tasted Wagyu before would know that it just melts in the mouth. This is what makes Wagyu beef a culinary delicacy and the favorite among beef lovers.

The high degree of marbling is the differentiating factor between Wagyu and other forms of beef. It means that the muscle of the beef is rich in monounsaturated fat thus giving the beef the superior taste, tenderness, and moisture. Monounsaturated fats are known to have low melting point and as a result it gets absorbed into the muscle when cooked. But soon after cooling it reappears again. The rich presence of monounsaturated fats makes it a healthy diet thus providing relief to beef lovers.

The presence of monounsaturated fats in Wagyu makes it a healthy food as it helps to reduce cholesterol in the body. Moreover, forty percent of saturated fats are stearic acid, which also helps to bring down the cholesterol levels. According to Dr. Tim Crowe, dietician and lecturer, Deakin University, “WAGYU is also higher in a type of fatty acid called conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). The CLA has been shown to have potent anti-carcinogenic properties, as well as being an anti-inflammatory agent. WAGYU cattle contain the highest amount of CLA per gram of any foodstuff – about 30% more than other beef breeds – due to higher linoleic acid levels.

As per USDA grading system, beef would be deemed as ‘prime beef’ only if it has 6-8 percent of marbled fat. Wagyu beef is believed to have 20-25 percent of marbled fat. And as far as the Australian grading system is concerned, the grading was raised to nine from six with the introduction of Wagyu breed. All this proves that Wagyu beef is a good low cholesterol diet.

Bingo Wings And What Supplements To Take

Getting rid of bingo wings is not easy. And most supplements promising to make the arm fat melt off like butter do not live up to their hype.

However, there are certain supplements that can make your bingo wing mission easier. Now they won’t do all the work for you, but they will lighten the load.

1. Argentinean tea. Your best bet here is yerba mate. I have not yet found a more powerful loose leaf tea on the market. This is probably the single best nutritional aid you can take to help reduce bingo wings. Just make sure you start off with small doses.

2. Green tea. But not all green tea is created equal. Stay away from bags and stick with loose leaf forms. Be careful if you’re taking any blood thinners like aspirin or fish oil since green tea is also a blood thinner.

3. Proteoglycan pills. In other words, glucosamine sulfate. It does a moderately well job at preserving your joints. And joint preservation should be top priority because once your joints give out, you can’t get them back.

4. Health bars. Natural energy bars are great tools for getting you out of a bind. Just make sure you don’t use them as substitutes for food on a regular basis, this will make getting rid of bingo wings that much harder.

5. Fish oil. This supplement is a little tricky. You see, many companies do not list EPA and DHA content, and many people take too much fish oil. All you need is 3 grams, have more and you risk damaging your heart.

Now please understand that supplements will not do all the bingo wing work for you. They can help, but they won’t burn the arm fat without effort on your part. Getting rid of arm flab is not easy. And in an attempt to get a slight edge, many women turn to energy drinks. Unfortunately, energy drinks come with many side effects that add up over time.

Letting go of energy drinks can be hard. They are ultra convenient and all you have to do is drink a bottle and instant energy is yours.

But you should be aware of the negative side effects of taking bottled energy for reducing arm flab:

1. Digestive lining degradation. Almost all energy drinks have one main ingredient in common: caffeine. And high amounts of caffeine can damage your digestive lining. It can also cause a lot of gastric distress.

2. Artificial masking of sleep debts. Just because you no longer feel the need to sleep, doesn’t mean that your body isn’t suffering the consequences. One consequence, is a reduction in the production of arm flab burning hormones.

3. Unconscious sleep sabotage. When you fall asleep, you’ll reawake at least 10 times. But the awakenings are so brief and light that you don’t remember any of them. Too much bottled energy during the day can increase said awakenings. The end result is poorer sleep without you being aware of the cause.

4. Increased stress. Energy drinks stimulate your adrenal glands to release epinephrine, dopamine and norepinephrine. All of which give you a tremendous surge of energy. Over time, the constant bombarding of your adrenal system can accelerate aging.

5. Low grade dehydration. Caffeine can mask many things. In this case, it can simultaneously mask and increase dehydration. Not a good combination for getting rid of arm flab. After all, hydration does effect metabolism and recovery from workouts. Moreover, it has a strong effect on your mood.

You are much better off sticking with loose leaf teas instead of energy drinks. However, you still have to be careful with abuse here. If some area in your daily routine is lacking, attack it before popping more caffeine. This will be a much better approach for losing that arm flab.

I remember my time when I was a student of architecture; I had very little time to go around preparing my own food, so I started having rice. Then I started being choosier so I began some very tasty and innovating recipes I do not even have names for.

Well, there came a time when I finally said enough and went for an electric rice cooker. Of course there is no denying that technology is constantly trying to catch up to the traditions and there is no need for us to be left behind.

It must be very hard therefore to properly determine just how long a certain rice to cook and at what temperature will it be cooked best. Of course add up the fact that many people do not have the time or concentration to constantly keep watch over the cooking rice so as to make sure that it is not overcooked.
